Mahoning 4-H camp program runs in July

Mahoning County’s 4-H program will host a 4-H Junior Camp from July 14 to 20 at 4-H Camp Whitewood, 7983 S. Wiswell Road, Windsor.

The Mahoning County Junior Camp will explore the theme “Around the World in Seven Days” and is open to all youths age 8 to 14. Participants do not need to be 4-H members to attend.

Camping activities will include swimming, boating, crafts, archery, riflery, recreation and campfires. Campers are supervised by trained counselors and permanent camp staff.

A fee of $250 provides a week of meals, lodging, program supplies, crafts, expert instructors and a camp T-shirt and photo. Registration and a $75 deposit is due by June 28.
