Kiwanis awards $1,000 scholarships to seniors

Kiwanis of Western Mahoning County awarded $1,000 scholarships to the following graduating seniors: Rachel Jenkins of Canfield High School, Greta Frost of Jackson Milton High School and Kyle Maendel of the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center.

Nick Spano will talk about Harry Spano, who developed the hotdog and baseball score card, at the next meeting at 6 p.m. June 19 at A La Cart Catering in Canfield.

The club will sell barbecue beef sandwiches and sausage sandwiches at the July 4 parade in Canfield.
