Kids camp planned for Aug. 12-15

The third annual Kids Camp Wild for children entering kindergarten to third grade this fall will be at the Trumbull County Agriculture and Family Education Center, 520 W. Main St., from Aug. 12 to Aug. 15.

Daily themes include observation, insects, water, plants and wildlife.

Kindergarten and first grade will be from 9 a.m. to noon, with third- and fourth-grade from 1 to 4 p.m. Cost is $15 per child.

The program is based on the Ohio Division of Wildlife’s Growing Up Wild curriculum and is sponsored by the Trumbll County 4-H and Trumbull County Soil and Water Conservation District. Camp counselors are still needed.
