Both recycling drop-off containers at the Warren fire station at 2454 Parkman Road NW have been permanently removed, effective Friday, according to the Geauga-Trumbull Solid Waste Management District.
The reason is because of the amount of dumping of garbage, broken glass, trash and cardboard at that location, the district said in a press release.

Boardman BOE meets behind closed doors
BOARDMAN
The Boardman Board of Education met Friday evening and immediately went into executive session to discuss a personnel matter with legal counsel involving “pending or imminent court action.”
When the board adjourned about two hours later, Hugh Braham, schools transportation supervisor, and an unidentified, professionally dressed man were seen leaving the meeting, at Center Middle School.
District Superintendent Frank Lazzeri refused to comment on the meeting but said board members asked everyone to leave so they could talk for a few minutes among themselves.
Board President John Landers said later that no action was taken.
Braham was ticketed May 17 for operating a vehicle impaired.
