Beaver Twp. Fire Dept. gets Homeland Security grant

NORTH LIMA

Beaver Township Fire Department will receive $22,843 for operations and safety upgrades from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency Assistance to Firefighters Grants program.

“Our first responders put their lives on the line every day across Ohio,” said U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, a Democrat, who announced the grant Wednesday. “These funds ensure that firefighters in North Lima have the resources they need to perform their jobs safely.”
