Equipment from four closed Austintown schools up for auction

AUSTINTOWN

Online bidding remains open at Basinger Auction Service for kitchen equipment, desks, chairs, playground equipment and gymnasium supplies from four closed Austintown elementary schools.

Lloyd, Woodside, Lynn Kirk, and Davis elementary schools open their doors Wednesday from noon until 8 p.m. for bidders to view items up for auction.

There are 1,042 items up for grabs, from school gates to trash cans to a complete playground system. Bidding closes at 5 p.m. Friday.

You can view items online and register to bid at basingerauctions.com, and view the items in person at Lloyd Elementary School, 5705 Norquest Blvd.; Woodside Elementary School, 4105 Elmwood Ave.; Lynn Kirk Elementary School, 4211 Evelyn Road; and Davis Elementary School, 4302 Maple Ave.
