HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL 34th Ohio-Pennsylvania Stateline Classic

The 34th annual Ohio-Pennsylvania Stateline Classic football all-star game is scheduled June 28 at Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pa. The event is put together by the Quad-County Football Coaches Association. Game time is 7:30 p.m.

Mike Skrinjar, who led Southern to a 6-4 season in 2012, is head coach of the Ohio squad which is made up of players from Mahoning, Columbiana and Jefferson counties.

Tickets cost $7 in advance and $8 at the gate. Tickets are available from any player or at practices which are scheduled June 17-18 and June 20-26 at Firestone Park in Columbiana. Tickets also are available at Sports Connection in Salem and at the following Columbiana locations: Sitler the Printer, AT&T Oakmont Plaza and Don’s Barber Shop.

The game sponsor is Bellissimo & Peirce, Attorneys-at-law, and the touchdown sponsor is Giant Eagle.
