The Springfield High baseball team trails Newark Catholic 2-1 in the top of the seventh inning of Sunday's Division IV state final at Huntington Park.

Hunter Snyder hit an RBI single in the first inning to score Ryan Kohler as Springfield took a 1-0 lead. Newark Catholic scored runs in the third and fourth innings.
