Wick Street men arraigned on drug possession charges

Staff report

WARREN

Two men arrested Thursday morning in a house on Wick Street Southeast were arraigned Friday morning on identical drug-possession charges and released on $3,500 bond.

Carl Foster, 57, and Antonio Stubbs, 27, appeared before Judge Thomas Gysegem in Warren Muncipal Court. An innocent plea was entered for both.

Agents with the Trumbull Ashtabula Group Law Enforcement Task Force raided the residence at 2345 Wick after conducting a two-month investigation that included undercover drug buys. During the raid, police found heroin, pills and two guns.

Warren police and the Warren Law Department obtained a temporary restraining order allowing them to board up the structure pending a June 17 hearing in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court to determine what will happen to the house.

Through the courts, the city is attempting to stop illegal activity at the home through state nuisance-abatement laws.
