The Medical Assisting Program at Eastern Gateway Community College was awarded continuing accreditation through 2022 by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs.

The next comprehensive evaluation of the program, including an on-site review, is scheduled to occur no later than 2022.

The program is offered on the Jefferson County Campus in Steubenville and at the Valley Center in Youngstown. Enrollment for the program, which includes certificate and associate degree options, is open at both locations.
