Beaver Ruritan to sponsor car show
North Lima
Beaver Township Ruritan hosts its Ninth Annual Father’s Day Car Show on June 16, featuring cars from the 1950s up to the present day. The show will be at New South Range High School on Columbiana-Canfield Road. The show runs from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and is free.
“We’ve turned it into a family affair, plenty to do for everyone,” said Linda Kappler who helped arrange the event. “It’s a great thing to do on Father’s Day. Stop by for a couple hours and still get home for a picnic.”
There will be an auction with over 50 items, door prizes, ice cream, and food. Registration is $6 and is open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and organizers expect to see over 100 vehicles, from standard classics to special-interest machines such as firetrucks and tractors.
