50-year-old arrested in multiple stabbing
WARREN
Chris Kardizes, 50, of Hall Street Northwest, was arraigned Friday in Warren Municipal Court on a felonious assault charge after police said he stabbed a 39-year-old Tod Avenue Southwest man.
The court entered an innocent plea to the charge. If convicted, Kardizes could get up to eight years in prison. Kardizes was arrested near his home after police found Curtis L. Shavers stabbed multiple times in the abdomen near 447 Hall St. at about 2:25 p.m. Thursday.
Shavers went to St. Joseph Health Center with serious injuries. His condition was not available late Friday.
Police said Friday they had not talked to Shavers and don’t know what led up to the stabbing.
