Sunday car show to benefit prostate cancer program

The inaugural Fuel the Fight: Drive Out Prostate Cancer car show and family event is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at Boardman High School, 7777 Glenwood Ave. In case of rain, the event will be June 30.
Admission is free to the event, funded by the Humility of Mary Health Partners Foundation. Activities and attractions include the world’s oldest Ford Mustang, live music by The Fringe, helicopter and ambulance tours, a Kid Zone and a Man Cave.
Special features are a raffle for a free two-year lease on a new 2013 Ford Escape and a food-eating contest to win ribs for 10 people once a month for a year from O’Charley’s. Show cars can be registered the day of the show for $20 each.
Proceeds go to the Man Up Mahoning Valley Campaign to help provide prostate-cancer awareness and screenings for the uninsured and underinsured in the Mahoning Valley.
