New Beatitutde House director to be introduced

YOUNGSTOWN
Beatitude House will host two meet-and-greet events to introduce Sister Janet Gardner, incoming executive director, to the Youngstown and Warren communities.
The first session will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. June 19 at at the adminis-trative offices at 238 Tod Lane. A short program will take place at 10.
The second opportunity will take place from 9:30 to 11 a.m. June 27 with a short program at 10 at A House of Blessing, 1370 Tod Ave. N.W., Warren.
These events are free and open to the public. Coffee and light refreshments will be served.
Before to coming to Beatitude House, Sister Janet served as general minister for the Sisters of St. Francis of the Providence of God, where she oversaw and coordinated ministries in 22 locations.
She holds a master’s degree in social work from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., and belongs to the Association of Certified Social Workers. She has a background in transitional and supportive housing programs.
