Jailed city cop in protective custody; bond set at $50,000
YOUNGSTOWN — A Youngstown police officer in the Mahoning County jail has been placed in protective custody.
Defendants, scheduled to be arraigned in Municipal Court this afternoon had to be locked down this afternoon because most of them know Detective Sgt. Rob Lodwick and they threatened him, a court employee said.
Lodwick was arraigned today on charges of involving a minor in sexually oriented material and importuning.
He has a $50,000 bond and a no contact order with the victim. He is also banned from using a computer and has to surrender all his firearms.
