URSULINE LIVE/Ursuline falls 2-0

COLUMBUS — Wheelersburg defeated Ursuline 2-0 in today’s Division III state semifinal at Huntington Park.

The Pirates, the defending state champions, scored twice in the top of the eighth inning. Ben Arnold hit a RBI double then scored.

The Irish loaded the bases in the eighth inning.

The Irish finish 24-3. Anthony Rohan doubled.
