Suspect in Salem homicide in jail on $1M bond


SALEM — A man charged with killing a woman at an Oak Street home early Wednesday morning is in the Columbiana County Jail on a $1 million bond.

Mason Feisel, 34, of Afton Avenue, Boardman, is due back in court for a preliminary hearing June 17 after his arraignment today in Columbiana County Municipal Court.

Police charged Feisel with the death of Samantha A. Shasteen, 32. She was found dead inside the home about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday. Police have not said how Shasteen died and did not return a message today seeking comment.
