CANFIELD

May 25

Drug abuse: Police charged Richard Hall, 49, of 7815 Akron-Canfield Road, with possession of dangerous drugs and drug abuse after his arrest in the city.

May 26

Drug paraphernalia: Jena Christy, of 40 Russo Lane, was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.

May 29

Warrant: Police arrested Lorraine Driskell, 49, of Paco, Fla., on a warrant out of Santa Rosa, Fla., for a probation violation.

May 30

Drug paraphernalia: Police charged Dean Fekete, 21, of 4356 Jarrell Court, with charges of possession of drug paraphernalia after his arrest in the city.

May 27

Assault: An assault was reported at Jeswald’s Towing, 6528 Mahoning Ave.

Burglary: Electronic equipment was stolen at a home in the 300 block of Idlewood Road.

Theft: An Xbox and a stereo equipment was stolen from a home in the 100 block of Russell Avenue.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Thomas McDonald, 26, of 582 Forest Ridge Drive, Boardman, for possession of marijuana.

Burglary: An air-conditioning unit and miscellaneous change was stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Idlewood Road.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Ashley Young, 19, of 1619 Florence Ave., Youngstown for possession of marijuana and a summons to Nicholas Molina, 24, of 4085 Stark Drive, Austintown, for possession of drug paraphernalia.

May 28

Warrant: Police arrested George Fill, 27, of 5462 Rockwell Road, Austintown, on a warrant for telecommunications harassment.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to William Mayfield, 32, of Geneva, for possession of marijuana.

Criminal damaging: A window out of a vehicle in the 4000 block of Lanterman Road.

Criminal damaging: A lawn in the 1000 block of Cedarwood Drive.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to an account at a home in the 4000 block of New Road.

Warrant: Police arrested George Terry, 54, of 2036 Logan Ave., Youngstown, on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle ran into a fence at a home in the 4000 block of Lanterman Road.

Unauthorized use: Police charged James Larosa, 33, of 3738 Riblett Road, with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Animal complaint: Police issued a summons to Julie Brauer, 40, of 1055 S. Canfield-Niles Road, for failure to confine her dog.

May 29

Warrant: Police arrested Donny Holiday, 32, of 626 W. Park Ave., Warren, on a warrant for contempt of court.

Theft: A male took money for televisions but did not deliver them at Save-A-Lot, 1715 S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: Four suspects are involved in the theft of tools at Tractor Supply Co., 6225 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A wallet was stolen by a male suspect at a home in the 30 block of Lexington Place.

Breaking and entering: A coin box on a washer was damaged during an attempted theft of the box at Meridian Services, 1192 N. Meridian Road.

Theft: Four wrench sets and an 80-gallon sprayer were stolen at Tractor Supply Co.

Aggravated menacing: A woman was threatened by a female at Bill’s Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.

May 30

Burglary: An Xbox was taken from a home in the 200 block of Carnegie Avenue.

Theft: A debit card was taken and used at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Police arrested Jarrod Makis, 25, of 693 Mahoning Ave. NW, Warren, on a warrant for receiving stolen property.

Theft: Medication was taken from a home in the 6000 block of Kirk Road.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to an account at a home in the 1000 block of Idaho Road.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at a home in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Boulevard.

Menacing: A person was threatening employees at the Lane Administrative Offices, 5801 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Police arrested Jesse Durkin, 20, of 2052 S. Raccoon Road, No. 14, on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge.

Criminal trespassing: Four juveniles were caught trespassing at Lynn Kirk Elementary School, 4211 Evelyn Road, and released to their parents’ custody.

Assault: A victim was assaulted by a suspect at Styx, 3680 S. Meridian Road.

May 31

Disorderly conduct: Police charged Nicholas Guro, 24, of 6834 Pineridge Court, No. 2, with disorderly conduct after his arrest in the township.

Warrant: Police arrested Carla Wiburn, 43, of 6418 Youngstown-Kingsville Road, Cortland, on two warrants for telecommunications harassment and criminal trespassing.

Criminal trespassing: Police charged Steve Sodomora, 54, of 5123 Oakcrest Drive, with criminal trespassing at the Lane offices.

Theft: Money was reported stolen at the Gateway office, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Burglary: Money was taken from a home in the 4000 block of Norquest Boulevard.

Telecommunications harassment: A victim reported receiving harassing phone calls at Rainbow, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Disorderly conduct: Police issued a summons to Katelyn Governall, 22, of 112 W.Warren Ave., Youngstown, for disorderly conduct.

June 1

Warrant: Police arrested Jerry Sharpin, 61, of 2811 Idlewood Ave., on a warrant for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Theft: Money was taken at Westgate Pizza, 4401 Mahoning Ave.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to James Gadd, 25, of 2207 Innwood Drive, for possession of marijuana and arrested him on a warrant for menacing by stalking.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to R. Curtis Kellogg, 41, of Ravenna, for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Warrant: Police arrested Samuel Pete, 27, of 710 Hayman Court, Youngstown, on a warrant for telecommunications harassment.

Theft: Several PlayStation games were stolen at Walmart.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Deanna Hoppa, 20, of 3980 Nassau Court, for marijuana paraphernalia and possession of a prescription sedative.

Disorderly conduct: Police charged Richard Pollock, 62, of 5512 London Drive, Austintown, with disorderly conduct.

Carrying concealed weapon: Police charged Jacob Hall, 21, of 2613 Rexford Road, Youngstown, with carrying a concealed weapon.

June 2

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Basil Omar, 28, of 1976 Clermont Ave., Warren, for possession of marijuana.

Warrant: Police arresed Dawn Foster, 47, of Dayton on a warrant for failure to appear on a criminal trespassing charge.

Recovered property: A Direct Express Mastercard was found at Walmart.

Warrant: Police arrested Frank Swick, 32, of 462 S. Raccoon Road, Apt. C-1, on a warrant for failure to appear on a disorderly conduct charge.
