Bond set at $250K for Boardman murder suspect
BOARDMAN — Tequila Haskins, the woman police charged with stabbing her boyfriend Brian Tubbs to death at their Moyer Avenue home Tuesday, is in Mahoning County jail on a $250,000 cash bond.
“I don’t believe the family is financially able to afford [the bond],” Haskins’ attorney Dennis DiMartino said after today’s arraignment before Judge Joseph M. Houser of Mahoning County Area Court here.
Haskins, 28, entered a not-guilty plea to the murder charge.
DiMartino asked for a $50,000 bond and electronic-monitored house arrest. The county prosecutor asked that bond be set at $500,000.
