Woman charged with OVI had her 7-year-old daughter as passenger

BOARDMAN — A Boardman woman was arrested for OVI and child endangerment Sunday night.

Krista Wheatley, 28, of Boardman was pulled over after police noticed her driving erratically, according to a report.

Wheatley, who had her 7-year-old daughter in the car, was coming home from a graduation party, according to a report.

She told police she had three alcoholic drinks at the party. Wheatley's blood alcohol content was .165, twice the legal limit of .08.

Wheatley and her 7-year-old daughter were taken to the police department where Wheatley was booked. A friend of Wheatley's picked Wheatley and her daughter up from the police department.

Wheatley is scheduled to appear in Mahoning County Court 2 on Tuesday morning.
