Kiwanis dates set for activities

CANFIELD

Kiwanis of Western Mahoning County recently elected officers for the 2013-14 administrative year.

Serving will be Wally Sinn, president; Jack Vacca, president-elect; Katelyn Amendolara, vice president; Dave Little, treasurer; and Bob Thomas, secretary.

They will be installed the first week of October and serve until Sept. 30, 2014.

Upcoming speakers will include Gerry Riccuitti of WKBN on June 5; Bridgett Lackey of HHHP on June 12; Nick Spano will talk about Harry Spano, who developed the hotdog and baseball score card, on June 19; and Heidi Daniel of the Youngstown Public Library will speak on June 26.

The club supported the Jackson Milton Key Club’s second annual Blue Jay 5K run/walk May 26.

Meetings are at 6 p.m. Wednesdays at A La Cart Restaurant in Canfield.
