Car and custom bike show is Sunday in Boardman

The Armstrong Street Scene Car and Custom Bike Show is set for noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at Shepherd Self Storage, 7469 South Ave.
In partnership with Breaking Bread, Armstrong’s ongoing initiative to feed the hungry, all food and monetary proceeds from the show benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley.
Registration will be from 9 a.m. to noon and is $10 per car or bike. Spectator admission is free. Each individual who donates a nonperishable food item will receive a free raffle ticket.
The show features the 1965 Mustang “Batcar,” a vintage race car with a 427 Ford hemi engine, courtesy of Don Synder. Custom motorcycles by DZ Kustoms and custom vehicles by #1 Performance Center will also be on display. Monster Truck Bad Habit will round out the exhibition.
Fourteen trophies will be distributed, as well as goodie bags, dash plaques, customized photos and door-prize tickets to the first 200 registrants. Concessions, basket auctions and 50-50 raffles will be available.
Rick Gurrera, host of the “Street Scene” television series, will film live at the event for the series premiere.
