Wendy Ford wins a Sunburst title

Wendy Ford, 15, of Struthers has been chosen to represent Ohio in the 2013 Sunburst International Teen Pageant, which will take place in Atlanta in August.

She won the title of Miss Teen Sunburst Queen in a May 17-19 competition in Columbus. Wendy won a 6-foot trophy, a 12-inch crown, cash and a savings bond.

She is a sophomore honor student at Struthers High School, where she holds letters in cross country, track and band. She also is a member of the tennis team.
