Kayak tour, training at Jennings next Sunday

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa.

Jennings Environmental Education Center is hosting a kayak tour through Slippery Rock Creek from 1 to 4:30 p.m. next Sunday.

Calmer sections of the stream will be explored as kayakers hone their paddling skills. The event is intended for children 12 and older and adult participants who have some flat water kayaking experience.

Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Moving water skills will be discussed and practiced. All equipment will be provided, including kayaks.

Participants may not bring their own kayaks. Participants should bring their own life jacket and other accessories.

Cost is $15 per person, and registration and payment are required by Thursday.
