Tom Krotky aced the 160-yard No. 9 at Knoll Run Golf Course on May 8 while playing in the Jednota League. He used a hybrid 5-wood. His playing partner was Paul Ritz, who also was playing with Krotky in the Campbell League in the mid-1970s when he aced the third hole at what was then known as Hubbard Golf Course with a 7-iron.

Mark Passerotti of Boardman aced the 149-yard No. 8 at Kennsington Golf Club on May 26. He used an 8-iron. Witnesses included George Ferris and Constantine Marioni. It was Passerotti’s third hole-in-one.

David Popovec of Boardman aced the 179-yard No. 18 at Salem Golf Club on May 25. He used a 6-iron. The hole-in-one came during the Harmon Chicken Leg Invitational, a scramble. The ace led the boys to a 13-under par total and a victory over the girls. All the scramble participants witnessed the shot.

Natalie Toy MacDonald of Boardman aced the 132-yard No. 4 at Reserve Run Golf Course on May 28. She used a 9-iron. Scott MacDonald witnessed the shot.
