Veronica Rey Esparra of Youngstown and Jeremy Michael Sallee of Boston exchanged vows April 6 at St. Columba Cathedral. The Rev. Michael Swierz officiated at the 2 p.m. wedding. A reception followed at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center in Boardman.
After a wedding trip to Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico, the couple reside in Boston.
Reynaldo and Nancy Esparra of Boardman are parents of the bride. Parents of the groom are Stacy Brown of Indianapolis and Michael Sallee, also of Indianapolis.
The bride wore a mermaid-style gown with a sweetheart neckline.
Maid of honor Cristina Esparra and matron of honor Maria Avila are sisters of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Micah Sallee, Chelsea Sallee and Sterling Brown, sisters of the groom; Monica Esparra, cousin of the bride; Ericka Byrd, cousin of the groom; Victoria Steiner; Danielle Mordocco; and Amber Nemergut.
Her attendants wore black dresses.
Aviana Whipple, niece of the bride, was the flower girl.
George Edmonson performed the duties of best man.
Groomsmen were Jeff Avila, brother-in-law of the bride; Jaylon Brown and Michael Sallee Jr., brothers of the groom; Eddie Jackson, cousin of the groom; Kacy Bullard; David Stevenson; and Luis Esparra, Jose Esparra and Manuel Esparra, cousins of the bride.
Ushers were Fred Jackson Jr. and Kyle Steiner Jr.
Rey Avila, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer.
The bride received a bachelor’s degree in education from Kent State University and is a teacher for Delphi Academy of Boston, Milton, Mass.
The groom is a footwear designer for Reebok in Canton, Mass., and received a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies in fashion, graphics and business from Akron University.
