Dinner-theater benefits mission

The 34west Theater Company will present “Sock Hops and Soda Pops” at Antone’s Banquet Centre on July 12 as a benefit for the Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley. A buffet will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by the show.

New officers of Opera Western Reserve are: Elliot P. Legow, chair; Rodney Lamberson, vice chair; Clyde Morris, treasurer; Claudia Corbe, secretary; Gary Sexton and Scott Schulick, executive committee members. The following were elected to three-year terms as members of the board of trustees: Tyler Clark, Cynthia Foust, Dr. Alan Gittis, Hunter Morrison, Nancy Peruzzi and Katie Seminara. Patricia Fleck Kavic, a founder and first president, was honored at the OWR’s annual meeting last month, as was Mary Ann Senediak, board secretary from 2003 to 2013.
