The wedding of Kelly Ann Hull of Youngstown and Darryll Richard Hoon Jr. of Canfield took place March 22 at Old North Church, officiated by the Rev. Shawn Sprouse.

Parents of the bride are Edward L. and Kathleen M. Hull of Youngstown, and parents of the groom are Darryll R. Hoon Sr. of Canfield and Lori A. Hoon, also of Canfield.

A reception at Johnny’s Restaurant in Boardman honored the couple, who took a wedding trip to Hocking Hills, Ohio. The bride is residing with her parents while her husband serves his first tour of duty with the U.S. Army.

The bride wore a net-over-satin ball gown featuring a lace bodice of organza apple blossoms with shimmering rhinestone-and- crystal centers and a skirt with scattered blossoms. A satin sash and back bow enhanced the gown.

Wearing a black dress was the maid of honor, Emily Shipley, and the groomsman was Jacob Bowman.

Mrs. Hoon attends Youngstown State University and works as a receptionist for YSU.

The groom attended YSU and is employed by Commercial Metal Forming as a plasma table worker in Youngstown.

A member of the Ohio Army National Guard Military Police, he is deployed.
