Cocoa Beach, Fla., was the setting for the April 25 exchange of vows of Heather Jane James and Dr. Paul Joseph Gagné. Joan Arseneault officiated at the 6 p.m. private family ceremony.

A reception followed at The Mango Tree, Cocoa Beach. The Lake Club in Poland was the setting of a postnuptial party.

Ron and Janie James of Poland are the parents of the bride.

Parents of the groom are Linda Gagné and Paul Gagné Jr., both of Brunswick, Ohio.

The bride’s brother, Brian James, was her honor attendant, and the groom’s brother, Brian Gagné, performed the duties of best man.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree in art from Wittenberg University and is an impact specialist for Boys & Girls Club of Metropolitan Phoenix, Avondale, Ariz.

The groom received a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Toledo University and a doctor of physical therapy degree from Washington University of St. Louis. He works as a doctor of physical therapy at Arizona OrthoSports, Glendale, Ariz. He also is a board member for Arizona Physical Therapy Association and publishes physical therapy articles and presents them at conferences.
