Child’s body found in SW Ohio

Police have found the body of a missing child in rural southwest Ohio after an afternoonlong search.

The body was found in a densely wooded area near Hillsboro about 60 miles east of Cincinnati.

The Hillsboro Times- Gazette reported Friday that it was unclear how long the child had been missing.

The paper says the search involved Hillsboro police, the Highland County Sheriff’s Office and the state Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
