Volunteers spruce up Upton House

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Upton House volunteers recently worked to keep the location ready for visitors. From left are Sally Mazer, Martha Flint, Thomas Barnes, Charles Hahn and Virginia Baran. The next free open house will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday and will feature Lois Barrett with antique and collectible dolls and bears, including bears by Helen Kirkschnick. Upton House is located at 380 Mahoning Ave. NW in Warren. The home is available for tours and rental for meetings, parties and events. For information call 330-395-1840.
