Composting seminar Aug. 11 in Mahoning County

CANFIELD — The Mahoning County Recycling Division is offering a one-hour composting seminar with video instruction at 1 p.m. Aug. 11 in Classroom A at the Mill Creek MetroParks Farm on state Route 46.

Registrants will receive a backyard composting bin, instructional booklet and troubleshooting guide. The cost of this seminar on recycling organic material is $10 for county residents and $40 for nonresidents. Pre-registration is required by Monday by calling 330-740-2060.
