ACHS will sponsor poker run Sunday

Animal Charity Humane Society will sponsor a poker run Sunday to benefit abused and neglected animals in Mahoning County.

The run will begin at 12:30 p.m. at the Handle Bar, 1666 Mahoning Ave., with stops at Styx, Mike’s Lounge, Sail Inn and the Pink Elephant and return to the Handle Bar.

There will be prizes, a 50-50 raffle, basket auction, outdoor music and an all-you-can eat buffet.

The cost is $15 for a single rider and $5 for a passenger. Tickets for only the buffet will be $10 per person. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. Preregistration is available with the first 20 participants receiving a special gift. The event will take place rain or shine. All vehicles are welcome. Participants must sign a waiver form.
