MYCAP Head Start program registration is Thursday

New and re-enrollment for MYCAP’s Head Start Program in Western Mahoning County will be 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday at Sebring United Methodist Church, 126 W. Indiana Ave. Head Start classes begin Sept. 9 at the Sebring Learning Center inside the church.

Parents re-enrolling their children do not have to complete another application, but there will be screenings for vision, hearing, height, weight, blood pressure and developmental skills.

Parents enrolling their children for the first time need to complete an application and bring this information: proof of the child’s birth and shot record; medical or insurance card; custody papers if applicable; Social Security cards for the entire family; income documentation; phone numbers and addresses of two individual contacts; and phone numbers and addresses of the child’s pediatrician and dentist.
