Boardman police investigating theft from Bev Road company


BOARDMAN — Township police are investigating the theft of 60 aluminum louvers and two aluminum gradings from Spectrum Metal Finishing Inc. on Bev Road. The theft was discovered by an employee Monday.

Video surveillance revealed two men using hand cutters to enter through the company’s fence at 10 p.m. Sunday, according to a police report.

In addition to the video surveillance at Spectrum, Goodrich Cleaning Supplies, located next to Spectrum, also caught the thieves on camera placing the stolen items in their vehicle, according to the report.

The louvers are valued at $27,120 and the aluminum gradings are valued at $500, according to the report.
