Youngstown police find pills, suspected marijuana on West Side man


YOUNGSTOWN — Police found 89 pills on a man pulled over for an improper turn about 5:20 p.m. Sunday at Oakwood Avenue and Steel Street on the West Side.

Police arrested Robert Jeter, 31, of Mahoning Avenue on charges of possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drugs marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia and took him to the Mahoning County jail.

Reports said the officer who pulled Jeter over smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from his car and found a marijuana grinder inside, as well as the pills and a small bag of suspected marijuana.
