ARTS and CRAFT SHOWS

Leetonia Artisans Festival Committee is seeking vendors for its 28th annual artisans festival planned from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 15 at Wick Park, Leetonia. Registration forms are available at www.leetonia.org. Contracts will be available for $40 for a 15-by-15-foot space for exhibitors and $50 per space for food vendors with a state-approved food license. The deadline for registration is Wednesday. St. Jude Craft Show will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 16 at St. Jude Activity Center, 180 Seventh St., Columbiana. It is sponsored by St. Jude Women’s Guild and will feature hand-crafted and homemade items, a baskets auction, bake sale, prize raffle and lunch counter with a varied menu. Trinity Lutheran Church, 78 E. Liberty St., Girard, will sponsor a craft show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Food items will be available to purchase. FUNDRAISERS

Howland Community Church, 198 Niles-Cortland Road NE, Warren, is sponsoring a spaghetti dinner and craft show fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 10. Proceeds will benefit Betty’s Angels. The meal includes bread, tossed salad, beverage and dessert for $6 for adults and $4 for children 6 to 17. Children 5 and under eat free. Vendors tables are available for $25 or $20 with the donation of a basket auction prize. Reservations or food orders are due by Aug. 3. Call 330-240-2982.

Alzheimer Network is sponsoring a garage sale in the auditorium of Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday (bargain day). For information call 330-788-9755.

North Jackson Citizens Association community-wide yard sale will take place at 9 a.m. Friday and Saturday at more than 100 locations. A list of locations is available at 11349 W. Mahoning Ave., where there will be free parking. Live music will be provided by Steve Frazzini. Proceeds will be donated to Jackson Milton Schools, Kids’ Kupboard, Children’s Fire Program, holiday programs, improvements for Jackson Park, hosting meet the candidate nights and supporting Memorial Day and Fourth of July Parades.

St. William Church, Champion, will host its annual rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday. Saturday is bag day from 8 a.m. to noon. The sale will take place in the large social hall and adjoining classrooms, at 5431 Mahoning Ave. A lunch counter also will be available.

TRIPS

New Hope United Methodist Church, 21 Fairview Ave., Niles, is sponsoring an Amish Country bus trip to Berlin, Sugarcreek and Walnut Creek, on Aug. 17. The bus will depart at 7 a.m. and will return at 8 p.m. at the parking lot of the Super Kmart in Niles.
