SW Ohio couple charged with animal cruelty

OXFORD, Ohio (AP) — A southwest Ohio couple faces misdemeanor animal cruelty charges after the deaths of two horses.

The Cincinnati Enquirer reports that Animal Friends Humane Society says a third horse in an emaciated condition was removed from the couple’s property in April. Kenneth and Debora Morgan of the Hamilton area don’t have a listed telephone number and no attorney name was available in court records.

They were scheduled to face the charges later today in the Butler County Area court for Oxford.
