Pymatuning Lake Fest, one of the biggest and longest-running festivals in Ashtabula County, will return next weekend for its 31st year.

It will be at Pymatuning State Park main beach, 5354 Pymatuning Lake Road, just south of the Route 85 causeway. The fest will feature artisans and crafters, continuous entertainment, rides and games, inflatables, pontoon boat rides, food, a beauty pageant and contests.

The family-oriented fest is expected to draw more than 15,000 people Saturday and Aug. 4.

The entrance to the festival grounds will be south on Pymatuning Lake Road, not off the causeway highway. The causeway is an exit-only route now. A donation will be requested at the ticket gates.

Hours are 10 a.m. to dusk Saturday, with a fireworks finale about 9:15 p.m.; and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 4.

An all-day wristband for inflatable activities is $5; all other activities are free. All dogs must be on a leash. A shuttle will transport patrons from the parking lot.
