Artists sought for solo exhibit schedule at JCC

The Thomases Family Endowment of the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation Art Gallery is seeking artists to fill its 2013-14 solo exhibition schedule.

Artists living in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties are encouraged to apply.

The gallery is in the main hall of the Jewish Community Center, 505 Gypsy Lane. The gallery has approximately 70 linealfeet of exhibit space with an easy-to-use AS gallery hanging system. Shows will rotate every six to eight weeks.

Exhibitors must be at least 18 unless otherwise designated. Eligible entries include paintings, mixed media, works on paper, photography, sculpture, installation art, digital media, video and performance.

Applicants must submit a proposal that includes an exhibition statement, 10 to 20 images on slides or on a CD with photos in a jpeg format in a maximum size of 500 kb, an image list including title, media and dimensions, and a resume or curriculum vitae. All images should be 72 dpi.

Submitted CDs will not be returned.
