Scrap tire collection set in Weathersfield

Weathersfield Township residents will again have curbside collection of scrap tires this year after trustees were awarded nearly $2,400 in grant funds from the Geauga-Trumbull Waste District for a 2013 Scrap Tire Grant.

Curbside collection is from Aug. 5-9.

There is a limit of four car tires (rims must be removed) per household. Large truck tires will not be accepted.

Tires also can be dropped off between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. during the collection week at the township administration building, 1451 Prospect St.
