St. Paul’s Episcopal Church was the setting of the Jan. 12 wedding of Laura Kristen Brown of Marquette and Christopher James Mauser of Youngstown.

A reception followed at Marquette Regional Historical Center.

Parents of the bride are Roy and Marilyn Brown of Marquette. Kathy Repenning of Liberty and Ronald Mauser in Nevada are the parents of the groom.

The couple reside in Charlotte, N.C.

Lara Newman was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Juliann Ulrickson and Lindi Pedersen.

Cousin of the groom B.J. Mauser performed the duties of best man.

Jimmy Summerville and Kevin Summerville were groomsmen.

The bride is studying accounting at Liberty University.

Mr. Mauser received a bachelor’s degree in business from Kent State University and is studying for his doctor of philosophy degree at Southern Evangelical Seminary.
