Farmers Bank gives back

Farmers National Bank is always looking for ways to connect with its neighbors and customers.

On June 22, the bank took over the cash registers at the Handel’s Ice Cream location on Route 224 in Canfield. For an hour that night, customers were treated to quarts, cones and shakes featuring their favorite Handel’s flavors – all on Farmers. It was an unannounced, covert operation in Farmers’ “Random Acts of Kindness” campaign.

During the giveaway, Farmers paid the tab on 193 orders totaling $723.90.

If you were not one of the lucky people in line that evening perhaps you’ll be the recipient of another Farmers’ act of random kindness sometime soon. Other events for the summer and fall are now being planned.
