Motorcycle accident victim dies


HOWLAND — Nicholas Cost, 56, of Warren, who was involved in a two-motorcycle accident at North Road and Crestview Ave. July 11, died Monday in St. Joseph Health Center from his injuries.

Cost was riding a Big Dog motorcycle southbound on North Road at 10 p.m. July 11. David Robinson, 50, of Williamsport, Pa., was riding his 2007 Harley Davidson northbound on North Road and attempted to make a left turn onto Crestview Ave.

Robinson, while turning left, was struck by Cost, and they were both ejected from their motorcycles. Neither man was wearing a helmet.

Robinson was transported to Trumbull Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. Toxicology results on both drivers are pending. The Ohio State Highway Patrol continues to investigate.
