Police arrested three people after being called back to the scene of a fight early Monday at the Plaza View apartment complex on the East Side.

Taken into custody on charges of disorderly conduct was Tamekia Cowart, 35, and Jaquala Mattison, both of Plaza View Court, and Jamar Martin, 31, was arrested on charges of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct about 4 a.m.

All three were taken to the Mahoning County jail.

Reports state police were called earlier in the morning for a fight between Cowart and Mattison, which involved several people watching, that took place after a group of people had been drinking at a nearby bar.

Cowart and Mattison also were warned to stay away from each other when police responded, reports said.

Police were called back about 4 a.m. for a report of a woman with a large stick hollering at another woman. When they arrived, Cowart claimed that Mattison had come back to her apartment and yelled at her to come fight.

Both were taken into custody, and Martin was arrested about the same time when he was asked to leave a nearby parking lot that police had tried to clear several times throughout the evening.

Reports said Martin was yelling at Cowart and told police he refused to leave, then he yelled at an officer, reports said.

He struggled with officers when they tried to arrest him and he had to be stunned, reports said.
