Sessions in the area

Lists of vacation Bible schools open to the public will run on the Religion page. Please include the following information: the complete name of the church; address with city or township; time, date and location of sessions; program theme; ages or grades; and whether it’s free or there is a fee. Information should be submitted two weeks before the school’s opening or its registration deadline. Who: Calvary United Methodist Church

What: “Sonrise National Park” is the theme.

When: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday

Where: Church, 12062 South Ave., North Lima.

Details: The free program is for children preschool through sixth grade. It includes daily music, crafts, skits and recreation. For information, call the church at 330 549-2588.

Who: Grace United Methodist Church

What: “Kingdom Rock” is the theme.

When: 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. July 28-Aug. 1

Where: Church, 1725 Drexel NW (off Parkman Road at Rite Aid), Warren.

Details: A light supper at 5:30 p.m. will be served to children attending. From 6-8:30 p.m., children will experience God’s Word as they participate in Bible stories, music, crafts, games and more. All children from age 3 years to those who have just completed sixth grade are welcome. To register, call the church at 330-395-5231 Monday-Thursday, between 8 a.m. and noon. Parents and guardians can also bring their child/children at the start of VBS to register and sign the emergency release and photo release forms.

Who: Poland Presbyterian Church

What: “Take the Plunge. Make a Splash with Jesus” is the theme.

Where: 2 Poland Manor, Poland.

When: 5:45 to 8 p.m. Aug. 5-9.

Who: The Newton Falls First Church of God

When: 6 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 5-9
