OCCHA Food Fest planned for Aug. 9

OCCHA Inc. (Hispanic American Civic & Cultural Organization) will have its second annual International Latino Food Fest from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 9.

The fundraiser will take place at the OCCHA Social Hall, 3660 Shirley Road, and will offer a variety of Latino foods, soft drinks and beer for sale.

Admission and on-site parking are free. Countries to be represented include Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico and Venezuela.

The menu will be a la carte with prices ranging from $1 to $5. Activities will include face painting, raffles, cultural dances and musical performances throughout the day.
