A sharp-dressed man carrying literature criticizing President Barack Obama has been jailed on charges he smashed three police cars with a large metal C-clamp.

Anton Orlichenko, 25, of Pittsburgh, was wearing a dress shirt, pants and tie when he was seen smashing the parked cars about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, police Cmdr. Timothy O’Connor told WPXI-TV.

Orlichenko was arraigned early Thursday on charges of criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and assault, allegedly for menacing officers with the large metal clamp before he was arrested, O’Connor said. Online court records didn’t list an attorney for Orlichenko.

He smashed rear-view mirrors on two cars and dented the bumper of another, O’Connor said.

“He had literature on him complaining about President Obama,” O’Connor said. “So we don’t know if this was politically motivated.”
