Farm to Fork Dinner to be July 28
The second annual Farm to Fork Dinner, presented by Covelli Enterprises, will take place at White House Fruit Farm in Canfield on July 28 at 5 p.m. The evening features a complete menu of locally grown and produced items, private shopping in the White House farm market, wagon tours of the farm and orchard and musical entertainment by the Jack Ciarniello.
The outdoor fresh-from-the-farm dinner and desserts will feature ingredients from White House Fruit Farm and a number of other local suppliers, prepared by chefs Ross Scianna and Devlin Dunn of Antone’s Banquet Centre.
“The local food, or locavore, movement has become increasingly popular across the country,” explains Debbie Pifer, White House owner. “This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase our locally grown produce, meats and dairy products.”
A number of tickets are still available at $100 per person. Seating is limited to 100. Those interested are advised to call Tara Mady of the United Way at 330-746-8494 as soon as possible.
White House Fruit Farm is located on Route 62 just south of Canfield near the intersection of Western Reserve Road.
