Committee to consider zoning change in Struthers at Monday meeting

STRUTHERS

The Annexation, Zoning and Industrial Business Committee will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in City Council Chambers at the Municipal Building, 6 Elm St., to discuss a zone change for 796 Fifth St. from Residential A to Residential C.

If approved, the building, which was built as a convent for the St. Nicholas Parish and has also served as a former Purple Cat location, would be used to house foreign exchange students attending area high schools.

The public is invited to the meeting, and asked to voice their opinions and concerns.
